We had the ".may. special" tourney this night at Everest Poker. We were more than 300 players, that is good! And the tourney was opened to all players, not only spanish, so that was a mess, with everybody talking, making sure that I was the one to kill, some complaining about I wasn´t at their tables ;), some asking me lot of questions.. wow, it was crazy on the beggining, answering to everybody, but later we took it slowlier and the multitalking was the best!
I can´t talk too much about my tourney because I barely played three hands! I limped in twice at tthe begining of the tourney and all I had was some all-ins in response. So I told myself... ooook, so I can´t move. You had to see me checking a top pair to the river... So frustrating! Besides I wanted to survive a little to make the bounty more interesting, and that´s complicated when everybody is looking forward to eliminate you... so I had to be more than tight...
So, most of the time I was talking spanish with all the people at the chat (sorry for all the gibberish talking!) It was so funny, lots of laughs. I finally was knocked out by gugus1984, who slowplayed so well a pair of aces and trapped me with my top pair of jacks... He made the final table as well, with a 4th place. Lalanco1 was playing as well, and he made the final table, losing with very bad luck in 9th place. First and Second place went to XT@TX and SAMSON75, with 862$ and 523$ prizes.
During all this month there will be a bounty tournament for every player at the Everest Poker Team, you could find them in the tag “specials” at the tournament lobby. If you don´t have the Everest Poker Software, you can download it here. I´m wishing to see myself at the other side of the war, fighting for a head instead of trying to keep mine in its place.
