Oh wow, last entry of this blog is like ten days ago... ok, It seems like I´m procrastinating again... But I´ve to say I´ve been little busy lately and I barely had time to write. I didn´t even say anything about how the Ladies Tourney ended!! Ok, here I have to blame facebook! It allows me to update very quick and (even better) very short. Love microbloging! So there is where I wrote how the tourney ended for me. Third. And that I was in a pretty bad mood to receive congrats. I wrote down the most important things about the tourney for my week column at Pokernews (I´m sorry, it´s in spanish! do I have enough english readers to translate it?? I doubt so..., so, if I´m wrong, english readers, STAND UP! and I will translate it. In the meantime... if there´s anybody interested... google has this amazing automatic translators... :P).
I think I played well but, doesn´t really matter how well I did, I made a big mistake on couple of hands and I lost the tourney in those. I rejected an all-in move of the shortstack when we were just three players... and I had A9 on the first and KJsuited on the second. And I folded!! Three handed!! D´oh!! Thing is that Soraya (the one who won the tourney at the end) played very few hands and I made my decission based on her image and didn´t think about other staff. But... well, I learn the lesson and over it, so time to move on. Tourney is going to be aired on Channel 5 (in UK) on January. I have to say, it´s kind of funny see me... I was a little nervous because of the cameras... there´s some highlight moments where I lost my mind and I´m not able to count 20.000 points with 2000 points chips... (it happened to me MANY times) I mean... I´ve always been bad at numbers... but this????? So embarrasing! Seeing a poker player having troubles to count... no good!!
Trip to London was longer than I expected. I had to get just one way ticet because the total stay would depend on how well I did on the first stage. So I made the trip with no plans (and whoever knows me a little, will know that I´m not a fan of improvising...) I won the first stage so I have to get more days (and very happy about it!) there! Made some tourism, enjoyed the city...
I have to thank to everybody at the program... the whole crew was very charming, kind and really nice with me. I had a great time there, and I´ll be back for sure. Also I met great players and had a lot of fun.
I came back to spain tired and wishing to spend a little time in home. I had a lot of work this last days and had no time to update the blog.
I have to write now two articles (pokernews and GX magazine) and answer three interviews. And has to be made TODAY. Because this week I have a lot of things to get done, and a tourney this weekend and I won´t be able to update. In the meanwhile, the kind guys from GX magazine allow me (and sent me fantastic psf´s) to put here some of the articles that had been published on the magazine. So, as soon as I learn who to publish them here, I will do.
This weekend I´ll be in Madrid, in Casino de Aranjuez, playing the fifth stage of the Spanish Poker Tour.
I´ll carry my little tiny tiny, brand-new, loved, precious and beatiful asus (did I mention I love my new -and very small and light- computer?) so maybe I´ll be able to update in twitter about how am I doing at the tourney. Oh loved twitter... I´m cheating on you with facebook... Oh, by the way, some many people had asked me what´s that twitter thing (unbeliveable, I know... lol) and why I have a sidebar module with gibberish talk (look left). Well that are my twitter updates. To explain what twitter is, in youtube´s era, nothing better than a video (thanks to common craft for these funny and very understandable videos)
