This December Spanish Poker Tour has its last tourney of this year circuit. It will be in Canary Islands, in Las Palmas, in Costa Meloneras Casino. It will be one of the biggest (and best) tourney ever made in Spain.
All the players are starting to talk about this tourney and its getting excelente "reviews"!. The true is that it has an excellent estructure and a great organization, and it has Thomas Kremser and Gerard Sierra as Tournament Directors, so we´re starting to know here in Spain how a tourney should be done.
In Meloneras, as the Final Event we will have a dream tourney. Look at the structure: 20.000 starting points, levels of 90 minutes, and a slow and equilibrated blind structure. I haven´t played something like this since the WSOP Main Event... it´s the best tourney ever made on Spain (not even the EPT has a better estructure)
One week full with tourneys (it will be some side events and satellites plus the Main Event) with perfect estructures, and sun, and beach and parties on the middle of December! I wanna holidays!!! weeee

Main Event will cost 2500€. There will be two side events (one of 500€, other of 300€), and few satellites days before the Main Event. All the info about the tourney, dates, timetables, hotels, how to get there, and everything, it´s HERE
And now, let´s skip to the important thing: How to win a seat in this tourney.
This tourney can be played by any player, even those who thinks that it´s a very expensive tourney have a chance to qualify for this tourney with little money. I know maybe some of you think playing satelites could be a waste of time and money, because playing big live tourneys seems like a too far and unapproachable goal... well, that´s not true. i won my first satelite to a live tourney when I was only two months experienced in Holdem so if I could did it, anybody can. And i have to say, playing live it´s an amazing experience that any player should try. So let´s take a look to the satelites:
Qualify online on Everest Poker:
You can play on thursdays the Direct Entry Satelite, with 3 seats
guaranteed. The prize package is 5000$ (including the buy in and some
money for travel expenses)
The nexts Direct Entry Satellites will be this thursday 19th and the next one, thursday 26th at 21:00GMT (look for the tourney in your lobby on "tournaments" and then on tag "satellites").
This satelite costs 100$, but if you want to play and cannot afford that money there´s other satelites which will qualify you to this one. There are satelites every day running on Everest Poker for the Spanish Poker tour (and much other tourneys), from 3$
And there´s even one more way (my favourite). If you want to play the Direct Entry Satelite you can try to win one GoldenToken in any of the SIT&Go´s or Tournaments with token prices. You can register to the Satelite with this token.
Qualify live:
There will be at least two satellites In Meloneras before the Main Event. You can see the dates and structure and everything here.
Also, there are few casinos in Spain making some satellites to the Final SPT.
For example, this weekend, in Gran Casino Aranjuez (20 minutes from Madrid) there will be one 50€ satellite with one seat guaranteed by Everest Poker. This will be this Friday the 21ts at 21:30. It´s a NL Holdem Tourney with rebuys (unlimited during the first three levels). To register, you just have to do it in the Casino even the same friday little before the tourney.
