Finally!!! After a long waiting, the SPT has come!! This week starts again the best poker circuit in Spain, the Spanish Poker Tour. I´ve been almost two months without playing live, so I really can´t wait to play this, one of my favourite tourneys. I´m so eager!! Can´t wait!! SPT 2009 will have its first stop at Gran Casino de Aranjuez, in Madrid, this week, from wednesday the 18th to Sunday the 22th.
This year circuit has some improvements, some of them:
-
better structure (level duration has increased to one hour in the Main
Event, and structures of the Side Events had improved too)
- prizes
and formats (the price of the saturday side Event it´s now 300€, and
the Fun tourney on sunday will be even funnier because now it has a
lower buy-in but a much bigger bounty)
- New cities and one final
stage that points to be one of the most importan european appointments
this year, with a buy-in of 3000€, and a dream structure
There will be live satellites in the casino running before the Main Event, starting this wednesday. The Spt circuit includes also some side events, with affordable buy-ins and very good structures. There will be 3 satellites total to qualify to the Main Event, and one
satellite to qualify to the saturday side event. No excuses, everybody
can play such a big tourney like this.
One of the improvements and dying to try is the new FUN Tournament, on sunday. A 50€ bounty! this is going to be war!! Hopefully, I wouldn´t be able to play it if I´m at the Main Event Final, but if I get out sooner than I expect, at least I will have a FUN time with this side event.
This year, the SPT still counts with the great team of TK Events. They´re the tournament directors of very big and important events such as the EPT; Thomas Kremser and Gerard Serra are considered as ones of the world´s best tournament directors.
