I'm in London ready to play the III Woman's World Open.
This is an "only women" tournament, a tv tournament which is
broadcasting in a lot of countries, and with a special format not very
common. It's a six handed shoot-out tournament where only the first
qualified in each heat gets to the Final Table. Although I was a little
skeptical with this format, I played this tourney last year, and it went
well to me (I get into the final table and I finished 3rd) and,
actually, I enjoyed a lot; so this year I'm eager to repeat.
I'll be playing heat 5 on tuesday morning. The Final Table would be on wednesday afternoon (I don't like the idea of missing the Champions Match between Barça and Manchester, and I guess no one of the crew want to miss it neither... well... this is a problem I would have to face only if I get into the final table, and that would be excellent news...)
I get into the most difficult table of the six qualifying heats. I'm fighting with María Demetriou and Sandra Naujoks (EPT Dortmund winner. This girl is on fire this year!!! I've never play against her, but I've been told she's quite good). Annete Obrestead was also participating but she got busted today on Heat 1. She was completely dominating her table but got so unlucky on a hand and now she's out (she had 10 10 against pocket eights for the other lady, of course, an eight appeared on the river).
My friend from the Everest Team, Kim Wooka, is playing too. She's playing tomorrow afternoon on heat 4. It would be so amazing if we both get into the final table. Good Luck Kim!!!

Whish me luck!
